Seeking a detailed individual to work as a Shipping/ Warehouse Clerk within our Transportation Department.

Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Schedule delivery appointments with residential and commercial clients.
Communicate by phone or e-mail with carriers to help resolve any issues or concerns with appointments, trailer inventories, etc. Shipping & Receiving clerks must be certified.
Communicate by phone or e-mail with customers to advise of any appointment and/or carrier issues or concerns.
General support to transportation department.
Work with cross functional teams to resolve challenges to help ensure orders are shipped and delivered on time.
Freight Bill of Lading creation Provide support to manager through reporting data.
Various tasks related to International Logistics

College degree preferred.
International logistics experience preferred
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills when communicating with customers or teammates.
Must have strong Excel skills and experience with Word.
Must be organized, dependable, self-motivated, professional person with the ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
